Terms and Conditions

1. Please note that parking fee is not included in lesson prices. It will be an additional R40 for parking.
2. Licence Requirements: Students must hold a valid learner’s licence or driver’s licence, as applicable, for the driving instruction or training they wish to undertake.
3. Validity of Lesson Packages: All prepaid driving lesson packages must be used within 3 months of purchase, unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed with ClemsNet Driving School.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling: Students must provide at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a driving lesson. Cancellations made outside this notice period may be subject to a cancellation fee.
5. Late Cancellations and Missed Lessons: Lessons cancelled with less than 12 hours’ notice, or missed without prior notice, may be charged at the full lesson rate. Exceptions may be considered in cases of genuine emergencies, at the discretion of ClemsNet Driving School.
6. Pricing: Lesson fees, packages and other service charges are subject to change. The applicable price will be confirmed at the time of booking. Any agreed price for a confirmed booking will be honoured unless otherwise agreed.
7. Pick-up and Drop-off: Additional charges may apply for collection or drop-off outside our standard service area. Any additional costs will be communicated to the student before the booking is confirmed.
8. Practical Test Vehicle Hire: The use of a ClemsNet Driving School vehicle for a practical driving test is subject to availability and the applicable vehicle hire fee. Students are encouraged to arrange vehicle hire in advance.
9. Student Documentation: Students are responsible for bringing all required identification, learner’s or driver’s licence documents, booking confirmations and any other documentation required for their official test or appointment.
10. Training and Licensing: ClemsNet Driving School provides driving instruction, skills development and practical test preparation. Official driving tests, licence issuance and licensing decisions are handled by the relevant government authorities. Completion of lessons does not guarantee a passing test result or the issuance of a driving licence.
11. Test Preparation: Students are encouraged to complete sufficient driving lessons and demonstrate the necessary driving skills before attending their practical driving test. Instructors may recommend additional lessons where further practice is considered beneficial.
12. School-Initiated Cancellations: If ClemsNet Driving School needs to cancel or reschedule a lesson, the student will be notified as soon as reasonably possible, and an alternative lesson time will be arranged without a cancellation penalty to the student.
13. Acceptance of Terms: By booking a lesson or purchasing a lesson package, students acknowledge that they have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
